‘Carry on’

Hi there campers! How are we doing? Everything is well my end, I just can’t believe it is only a mere two weeks until the end of the autumn semester, I don’t know where time has gone! It’s just flown by.

This week has been very exciting as I attended the postgraduate fair in the Students’ Union, each of the postgraduate courses had representatives at the fair. The careers and employability department also gave great talks about preparing for postgraduate, and now I’ve decided that this is for me.

I’ve also had a shift working front of house this week and it was great to observe and assist 2,3 and 4 of a kind, and Stateside from Singapore. Their extremely innovative music making was such a refreshing change to standard repertoire and I really hope to see them back in the department soon.

Looking ahead this week is another UCAS day on Friday and so it will be chaotic to organise but then it is very rewarding when I get to meet the students who are applying for undergraduate – it’s just a shame I won’t get the chance to see them when they officially join.

That’s all for now,

Speak soon!
