‘Circle of Life’

Hello there!

And so here we are, half way through the academic year and for me, half way through my final year at Cardiff. Although this term has been intense it’s also been hugely enjoyable and I’ve thrived meeting the demands of third year. The final week of uni was one of the busiest and I’m already feeling that the Christmas vacation will be as equally as busy!

Last week I was lucky enough to go and see a production of Company by Stephen Sondheim over the road in the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama which was very exciting as it’s related to my dissertation. As a student the RWCMD offer great deals on tickets for their shows and concerts which are very diverse. Company was a job well done, the cast were extremely talented, and this production offered some truly magical moments which I was really impressed by.

Talking of amazing shows, I saw the Lion King in Wales Millennium Centre and I was blown away by the stage design, set and costumes. This was a show I had been dying to see for a long time and so I was over the moon when I heard it was coming to Cardiff. The music, puppets and costumes were out of this world – it’s easy to see why the show is so popular.

And here the Christmas vacation is with copious amounts of work and revision to be done before the beginning of the next semester. I hope you all have an amazing Christmas and I’ll catch you for one more blog before the end of 2014!
